So I think we can rule out the lswitch bug case, it's something with the way Mac handles the caps lock key. One of the latest versions of Horizon 8 comes with new features. It was initially named VMware VDM which was then renamed to ‘VMware View’, ‘Horizon View’, and finally to ‘VMWare Horizon’. Note: if you make VMWare intercept caps lock and make it some other symbol (say, ` one) - it will behave the same way, just print `` (twice) and then nothing until Shift pressed. VMWare Horizon Client is a desktop virtualization software offered by VMware to provide remote desktop capabilities to users.

However, when I log on from Mac, it just briefly switches languages back and forth and then does not react to the key until I press Shift.ĭid anyone notice the same behaviour? How would you fix it? I tried to google around a bit, but couldn't find a working solution. This works perfectly if I log on the remote workstation from host machine with Windows (caps lock is intercepted and correctly switches the layout).
